Disney Pixar x Adobe Soul Album Cover Contest Entry

Pixar fans were challenged by Adobe to create an album cover for Disney Pixar's upcoming movie, Soul, using assets and textures given from the movie before its release.

I love using color gradients to help differentiate shapes and shadows with my lineless art style, and Joe’s iconic silhouette paired with the piano really let me lean into that. It wasn’t until after the movie came out that I realized the colors and vibe fit perfectly with the feeling of being “in the zone", and it made me love this cover and the movie even more.
